I was born on October 29, 1976 in Afyonkarahisar, Turkey. After primary school education in Aşkale, Erzurum and Bolu, I've completed my high school education in Gazi Anatolian High School, Ankara. In 1993 I've started my medical school education in Hacettepe Medical Faculty (English programme) and graduated in 1999. During my medical school education I've been to emergency medicine unit in McGill University, Ontario, Canada as an observer. In 2000 I've started my Radiology Residency in Istanbul Medical Faculty, Istanbul University and successfully graduated in 2004. I've accomplished as Associate Professor in 2010 and worked as a faculty member in Radiology Department and Interventional Radiology unit until 2015 in Istanbul University. Since 2015 I'm working as a full faculty member of Acibadem Mehmet Ali Aydinlar University Medical Faculty, Radiology Department and assigned as Professor in 2019. Since the last year of my residency my main field of interest is vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology and abdominal radiology. I'm an active member of Turkish Radiology Society (TRD), Turkish Interventional Radiology Society (TGRD), Cardiovascular Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE). I'm working as a reviewer for DIR, CVIR, ER journals. I lectured for medical school students and radiology residents for 'Atherosclerosis Module', 'Interventional Radiology in Trauma', 'Oncologic Interventional Radiology, 'Basics for Interventional Radiology', 'Abdominal Radiology', 'Lung Cancer'. My specific interest for liver related diseases, intervention and liver transplantation resulted as being a member of 'Organ and Tissue Transplantation Commitee' in Istanbul University. Between 2011-2013 I was the board member of Turkish Interventional Radiology Society (TGRD). Still I'm one of the education co-ordinators for Radiology clerkship of grade 5 medical faculty students of Acibadem MAA University.
