BM Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçları

The Pancreatic Cancer Research Center (PANKAM) was established in 2019 with the aim of investigating the molecular mechanisms underlying the interaction between pancreatic cancer and nerves. Our research focuses on identifying key signaling pathways and cellular players involved in this crosstalk, with the ultimate goal of developing targeted therapeutic strategies to improve patient survival and quality of life.

Our research employs a wide range of advanced techniques, including 2D and primary cell culture, 3D organoid models, live-cell imaging, viability assays, PCR, Western blotting, and genetically engineered mouse models.

Our work is supported by national funding agencies such as TÜBİTAK and TÜSEB, and has resulted in publications in high-impact journals and active participation in international scientific meetings.

Through integrative and translational research, PANKAM aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of pancreatic cancer biology, with particular emphasis on tumor–nerve interactions.
