I studied in the Molecular Biology and Genetics Program of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Istanbul Arel University. I completed this program as the second‑highest‑ranking student. I gained fundamental laboratory experience in courses such as General Chemistry and Molecular Biology. I used techniques including PCR, UV absorbance spectroscopy, agarose gel electrophoresis, DNA restriction digestion and ligation, bacterial cell preparation, and mammalian cell culture.
I pursued a thesis‑based master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology at the Institute of Health Sciences of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University. My thesis focused on determining the structural mechanism of the ERAP1 protein, in complex with ERAP2, across its allotypes and homo‑ and heterodimers, using computational techniques such as molecular dynamics simulations, trajectory analysis, molecular docking, and molecular modeling.
I am currently continuing in the thesis stage of the PhD program in Medical Biotechnology at the Institute of Health Sciences of Acıbadem Mehmet Ali Aydınlar University.
