Özet

In this paper, the concept of principal component analysis for the quantitative assessment of segmental myocardial deformation characteristics is explored. Hereto, a statistical model including the variations in deformation properties among 80 healthy individuals was built This model was subsequently used to detect abnormal deformation traces.
