Özet

Copeptin is an important biomarker for the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction in the troponin-blind period. In this study, a peptide-based nanostructured electrochemical biosensor was developed on a screen-printed electrode platform, enabling a disposable sensing strategy suitable for on-site applications. A copeptin-specific peptide, synthesized for this study, was employed as the biorecognition element to provide binding sites for the target. The UiO-66-NH2 metal–organic framework was synthesized to improve the electrochemical response and served as a functional interface due to its high surface area. The proposed biosensor platform provides a sensitive detection of copeptin with a limit of detection of 228.5 pg/mL, offering a promising low-cost and efficient peptide-based electrochemical sensing platform.
