Özet

Ventilatory support is decreased the mortality and morbidity of patients with chronically respiratory failure. When long term support needed, home ventilation decreased the cost and the risk of patients due to hospitalization. Noninvasive mechanical ventilation is the first choice for home ventilation. In 1999, a consensus report was presented that noticed about indication and follow-up criteria for NIMV. In last decade experience in NIMV has increased.
