Özet

Nowadays MICABG is a worldwide accepted procedure for LAD revascularization with low complications, easy performance, cosmetic and cost advantages. The aim of this study was to determine the beneficial effect of myocardial perfusion scintigraphy for the detection of the condition of LIMA-LAD anastomosis performed via MICABG technique. We chosen randomly 40 patients operated on between 1996 and 1997, and they were investigated with Tc-99m-hexakis-2-methoxyisobutyl isonitrile myocardial perfusion test using the rest stress protocol, and then, they underwent control angiography. The interval between cardiac surgery and scintigraphy was 2.87 +/- 0.42 years (range, between 2 and 4 years). 29 patients had negative scintigraphic result and patent anastomosis at the angiographic control. II patients had positive results, while 9 of them had angiographically restenosis at LAD. Myocardial perfusion scintigraphy is a usefully diagnostic test for the detection of graft-patency rate with 100% sensitivity and 93.5% specificity.
