Abstract

N-bridged m-nitrido porphyrinoids are known for their catalytic properties in oxidation reactions. Many recent works have described how structural variations of such complexes (nature and substitution pattern of the porphyrinoid, and metalation) can modulate these properties. In this work, we assess the versatility of heteroleptic (phthalocyanine or porphyrin) heterobimetallic (Fe or Mn) m-nitrido porphyrinoids in the oxidation of styrene, a fundamental chemical feedstock.
