Özet

Acibadem Biodesign Center (ABC) was founded in January 2017 with a joint funding from the state and university. Its mission is to provide innovative solutions to clinical problems, ranging from medical devices to healthcare delivery processes. Over the years we completed academic and industrial projects as well as provided innovative designs for entrepreneurs admitted to the Acibadem Incubation Center. ABCs design approach rests on three main key concepts: (1) design thinking, (2) need-based innovation, and (3) purpose-focused design. One other major goal of the center is to cultivate the employability skills in the students through promoting a transdisciplinary approach.
