Abstract

In this chapter, the editors propose a comprehensive algorithm for managing extremity soft tissue sarcoma, including primary cases, relapse cases, and cases presenting after unplanned resections. While the management is individualized in many cases, a general framework based on evidence-based medicine is required to provide a consistent and effective treatment model, which can be refined over time depending on feasibility and outcomes.
