ACUNAT Research Group was established within the Faculty of Pharmacy at Acıbadem University in March 2025. Our primary research areas include various pharmacognostic studies on natural health products, pharmacological activity tests, qualitative and quantitative analyses of bioactive compounds using different chromatographic methods, and quality control and pharmacopeia compliance analyses for final products marketed or to be marketed as “natural products” in Turkey and worldwide. Additionally, cataloging traditional folk medicines and investigating their scientific foundations are among our research topics.

Backed by Acıbadem University’s extensive laboratory facilities, our research group has attracted the attention of undergraduate and graduate students even in its early stages, leading to the projection that significant research opportunities will emerge.

In the rapidly growing scientific field of natural health products, which holds high added-value potential, researchers at all levels who are eager to work in this area are “natural” candidates for the ACUNAT group.
