Özet

Background Breast reconstruction with a Becker-type expander is a common technique following mastectomy. However, inconsistency remains in the literature regarding risk factors for the survival of a Becker-type expander following immediate breast reconstruction. This study's purpose is to investigate possible risk factors for the Becker-type expander survival and to evaluate the complications related to expander removal following immediate breast reconstruction.
