Özet

Background. Autonomic dysfunction (AD) and prolongation of the corrected QT (QTc) interval can complicate uremia and promote sudden death; their pathogenesis may be related to hemodialysis (HD)-associated oxidative stress. We designed this cross-sectional, controlled, clinical study with blind outcome assessment to investigate the prevalence and severity of AD and QTc lengthening in HD patients and their relation to oxidative stress.
