Özet

Physical examination revealed swollen ankle, and tenderness during plantar and dorsal flexion. dorsiflexion was 5, plantarflexion was 30 degrees. AOFAS score was 67. Plain radiographs revealed a calcified mass of loose bodies emerging from the anterior, and posterior ankle.
diagnosis was synovial chondromatosis. First anterior arthroscopy was performed from anteromedial, and anterolateral portals. 10 loose bodies, were extracted from anterior ankle, and synovectomy was done. After, the patient has positioned prone and posterior arthroscopy is done through posterolateral, and posteromedial portals still with the same tourniquet. 8 loose bodies were extracted, and synovectomy was also done. After fluoroscopy control operation ended.
