Phthalocyanines are used as molecular or nanomaterials in several applications such as sensors [1], photodynamic therapy [2], or catalysis [3]. Beyond the need to design and prepare phthalocyanines with adequate properties depending on the targeting applications, it is useful to incorporate them into materials to further progress towards innovation and industrial translation.
In this work, we explore the formation of croSS-linked polymeric phthalocyanines prepared from bisphthalonitriles having different spacers [4], with various lengths and/or rigidity. The structural properties of the resulting polymeric materials will be commented relatively to the bisphthalonitriles’ space nature and geometry
Keywords: Polymeric phthalocyanines, structural properties
