  The Bioethics Monitoring Committee of the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO will host a webinar featuring Assoc. Prof. Dr. Roberto Andorno, a member of UNESCO’s Ad Hoc Expert Group that contributed to the development of the 2025 UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Neurotechnology. The session will explore the ethical principles outlined in the new Recommendation and their implications for the governance of emerging neurotechnologies. Dr. Andorno will share insights from the drafting process and will answer participants’ questions in an interactive format.

  The webinar will take place on 22 December 2025 (Monday), from 12:30 to 13:30 CET / 14:30 to 15:30 Istanbul Time, and simultaneous English-Turkish interpretation will be provided.
