📌 Presented at Graduation Project Expo’25

🎓 We’re proud to present our graduation project titled “Determination of Contact Angles and Surface Tensions Using the Quartz Crystal Microbalance (QCM)”, which was successfully exhibited at Graduation Project Expo'25 at Acıbadem University.

This project introduces a novel experimental setup that integrates QCM technology with optical systems to enable real-time, high-sensitivity analysis of surface wettability and mass changes. A custom-designed 3D-printed holder, calibrated contact angle camera system, and impedance analyzer were combined to provide a multi-parametric evaluation of droplet behavior on sensor surfaces.

The study shows that QCM has the potential to be effectively used in combination with optical measurements to characterize surface–liquid interactions and offers a promising alternative to conventional surface analysis methods, particularly in applications requiring higher sensitivity.
