Our graduation project titled “Design and Integration of a Dual-Axis Robotic System to Automate Contact Angle Device” was successfully exhibited at Graduation Project Expo’25 at Acıbadem University.
This project introduces a stepper motor–based robotic system designed to automate mechanical functions in contact angle measurement devices. By replacing manual control of droplet release and stage adjustment with high-precision robotic mechanisms, we significantly reduced human error and improved repeatability in surface characterization tests.
📊 Results show:
• Manual errors up to 11.6%
• Robotic error as low as 0.08%
The system lays the groundwork for future smart testing platforms powered by real-time data and machine learning.
